Singletrack Recommends – Ariel does it again.
We’re stoaked again.
The Ariel 2 was out in sunny spain with the boys (n girls) of Singletrack in a TaperHeadTube test.
They came away impressed with the bike even though one of the guys over did it on a descent and put themselves in hospital. Doh!
We’re proud to say the Ariel 2 is Singletrack Recomended.

Saracen Big Air at Fort bill
What a weekend at the Bill. We made it up there early Friday evening to be greeted by summer weather conditions. MBUK set up the big Air Ramp and we pulled the bikes out of the van. Ready to rock.

We had a wicked time. Plenty of people enjoyed the airbag with no serious injuries. Lots of good feedback on the new bikes.
And to top the weekend off, fellow Brit Gee Atherton cleared up in the mens DH final.
Cool.
Update from Lance
It was good to catch up with Lance recently and even better to know he’s back riding again. He sent over some shots of him and the bike.
Looking forward to him sending it again!

What Mountain Bike – Trail bike of the year test
Twenty-Five bikes, one massive, intensive test. In its first outing the Ariel came overall fourth and picked up Play bike of the year 2010.

To get such an award in the company of many established bikes is a great result.

Sweet. Fantastic.

LMD in MBUK
Nice to see LMD getting some coverage in the latest dirt section of MBUK. It’s also good to know he’s riding again after a long recovery period and will soon be ready to send it! Great news!

He’s off to FISE this week to judge the comp – hopefully he’ll be riding the event next year!

Ariel 3 – MBR Trail Bike of the Year test
In Ariel’s first year we were invited to join the much coveted MBR Trail Bike of the year test. There’s a cool video over at youtube show Alan Muldoon ripping Glyncorrwg over in Wales. Looks like he was on a flyer!

So what did they think?
“For Saracen’s first effort at a 140mm-travel trail bike, the Ariel 3 is nothing short of impressive. The geometry and riding position feel great, the suspension is neutral and the bike comes with one of the best suspension forks on test – The Fox 32 Float RL Fit.”
