Like Ground Hog day the team woke up to find themselves back in not so sunny Scotland for round 3 of the BDS.

Glencoe is renowned for crappy weather but we were lucky to witness overcast and grey rather than gail force and torrential rain in the ear ‘ole, which was a welcome change!

The whole team was having fun with the super technical sections of the granite stacked hillside, until it bit back, taking out first Jack with a smack to the thigh then Will Weston with a crack to the head.

Best wishes to Jack who is still living it up in Fort William hospital, waited on hand and foot and eating grapes like a Roman emperor… Well not quite but it helps the rest of us to think he’s not too miserable up there!

Manon had a return to the form of her last visit to Scotland, taking the Elite women’s win by a whopping 40 seconds!

Phil Atwill fresh from his World Cup tour was in the groove and on another BDS podium with 2nd place and Harry took a stacked men’s field by the scruff of the neck with a fine 10th place.

We left Scotland for the final time this season with mixed emotions, as the whole team looks to the highlight of the UK season, the National Championships at Moelfre, where they will be gunning for the top step and the pride of being British Champion… Fingers crossed!
