We caught up with PK after another weekend shredding... He's been on the BMX's for some time now so in his own words tells us hows it been.
"It has been a brilliant couple of years for Saracen bikes with the rebirth of the brand through Madison. The feedback on the mountain bikes, the urban range and the kids bikes has been amazing.
Late 2009 there was the idea of producing a BMX range…
For the last 11 months I’ve been testing the Amplitude20 frames. The Frequency frame was the first prototype we received which rode excellent, looked great built up and stood up to a lot of abuse!
There was only one change I asked which was to make the chain stays slightly longer. This made a lot of difference and I felt happy that this frame was ready for the world . We then received a prototype frame that we will launch later this year which has the same geometry as the Frequency but with extras. It will feature an internal head set and removable brake mounts, cable guides and gyro mounts with the choice of running brakeless (not advisable)
Since the day I built up my frame I have ridden it nonstop! It has with held street, park and even trails. It’s been slammed down, landing on rails and hooked up on dirt jumps and I can honestly say that it’s the best frame I have ever ridden.
I don’t know how many of you read the Frequency bike test in the Ride UK magazine, so here it is. All round a great review. Though some comments should be forgotten about…
ROLL ON 2012!!!!
Cheers
PK
