So Josh has just had a good time getting some work experience with the guys and girls from Dirt Mag. Glowing reports all round, especially from all the girls at the mag. Seems they all have a soft spot for him now. Awww...... Nice one Josh. Here's his take on it all. DSC_1014josh "Due to the Madison Saracen team launch at the start of the year, I was able to get a spot for work experience with Dirt magazine which was an awesome experience to say the least. The work was just perfect for me as it enabled me to talk and write about bikes all day! After writing an article on a product for mpora’s new website (the Saracen Myst), I impressed the editors and they made me write all their reviews. The week’s works experience was extremely successful, especially when they asked me to stay on for a few more weeks due to the magnitude of my work! Working on a few aspects of the company allowed me to realise the extent of the magazine, and I also got to see the end products...a magazine in advance for proof reading. This was truly an awesome experience, especially reading such inspiring interviews which are apparent in the fore coming magazine. Not only that but I also worked alongside Bike Magic, an all-mountain bike magazine/website where I actually got my articles published. However all the talk and writing about bikes made me as eager as anything to get back on my bike. Consequently I raced at my local track at Penshurst for the PORC race series and ended up winning my category and coming second overall! I am now excited to go to national champs at Llangollen and then to go to Champery for 3 weeks!"
