A sunny day has been a bit of a rarity the last few months. A sunny downhill race has been almost non-existent this season. So, a dry and sunny day in Wales for the UK National Championships seemed like a god-send and formed the perfect back drop for a weekend of racing.
The team have had a season of ups and downs, with the National Champs being the perfect time to get back into winning ways.

Will Weston started race day off in great fashion, taking second place in Youth. Phil Atwill and Josh lowe both lined up in the Junior category, with Phil managing to take fourth place, despite having a major wobble on his race run, with Josh coming home in 7th.

Manon Carpenter has been hampered by a broken collarbone earlier this season, but proved she’s back on track with a second place in the Elite Women’s category. Harry Molloy rounded off a great weekend for the team by coming an impressive ninth place in Elite ; no mean feat with the likes of Atherton, Peat and Bryceland in attendance!
The next stop for the team is round 6 of the World Cup in Val d'Isere, France.
