Jordan Williams takes back-to-back World Cup wins in Snowshoe

Jordan Williams rounded out the 2021 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup taking back-to-back victories in Snowshoe, USA.

Williams convincingly won the first of the double-header race weekend and with confidence high backed up his performance, taking the final round of the season.

The result rounded out a stellar year that has seen Williams take multiple podium positions, finish second at the World Championships and second overall in the World Cup series - results made all the more impressive given that Jordan is in his first year as a junior competitor.

With another year still to complete in the junior ranks, Williams has already highlighted himself as a rider to watch, ahead of his graduation to elite competition in 2023.

The rest of the Madison Saracen team had a frustrating end to the week in Snowshoe. With Veronika Widmann out after her crash earlier in the week, Matt Walker was hoping to end the season on a high.

Qualifying in fifth was his best result of the year, but in his race run a puncture ended any hopes of an end-of-season podium.

With the season now complete, we'd like to thank all of our fans for their support. After a curtailed 2020 race schedule, it has been brilliant to be back racing a full season. We cannot wait for 2022 and a long-overdue return to Fort William!
