Jordan Williams takes third consecutive British Downhill Series win
Jordan Williams remains unbeaten in the 2022 British Downhill Series, with his third consecutive victory in Llangollen.
His time of 1:59.44 dominated the junior competition and more impressively would have placed him second in the elite men’s race, just 0.4-seconds down on winner Laurie Greenland.
Williams’ streak of form follows his win at the Fort William World Cup and British Downhill Series at the same venue. On both occasions his time came close to being the fastest on the day, showing strong potential ahead of his graduation to the elite ranks in 2023.
Matt Walker qualified fastest in Llangollen but a crash in his race run ended his hopes of winning.
