Walker crashes out in Loudenvielle
Matt Walker crashed out in Loudenvielle at the fifth round of the 2023 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup.
Having qualified 12th and made it through the semi-finals in 19th, Matt lined up for his finals run - but it would all unravel around a halfway through his race run.
Matt got back on the bike and completed the descent for 28th position - which now puts him 19th in the overall series standings.
Greg Williamson qualified in 56th, and finished 43rd in the semi-finals.
The series continues on September 9 in Les Gets, France for round six of the eight round contest.
