26 Goal: win a National race in comeback year

The Team is based in Perthshire in Scotland, tbe Team was set up in 2023 to assist some of the talent bed that currently resided in the area. I have followed Downhill Racing for a number of years, my first DH bike I bought in 2021 after starting riding that year on a Saracen after a long involvement with motocross, I raced my first race at 49years old and missed out on a podium by a small margin which lit a fire for more, I put my heart and soul into racing in 22 and became National Champion. I’ve only started riding again this year through 3 seasons of injury. Through this time gave me the opportunity to get the team set up and running the way it is today. I’d heard horror stories of sums of money changing hands for team rides and I wanted it done on merit not money, none of our riders pay into the team and that’s something that won’t change. It’s slowly gathering momentum and we try to raise the bar every year to give our riders the platform they deserve to go on and hit their goals on the world stage.  Plans for the future of the team is to be better than we were last year, 32 National and Euro Podiums last season and in 26 we are over half way there 5 races into the season. It’s looking good for the goals, we are now starting to attract outside support and being involved with a UK Brand in Saracen is just the icing on the cake for me. I am obsessed with racing and everything that goes with it. ‘Racing really is life’ I have the tattoo to prove it…
