JONO JONES RETURNS HOME — SARACEN RE-SIGNING FOR 2026
If you’re into UK mountain biking, the name Jono Jones needs no introduction. Today we are beyond stoked to announce that Jono is re-joining the Saracen family — and this time, it’s for the long haul from 2026 and beyond.
For many of us, Jono’s journey has become part of the Saracen story. A true British legend in downhill and enduro racing, he started making waves as a young rider shredding the trails at Woburn, before carving out an incredible competitive career that’s inspired riders up and down the country.
A Familiar Ride — But This Time It’s a Reunion
Jono’s first experience with Saracen came back in 2014, when he got his hands on his first Saracen bike. He spent three years riding with us — racing National and World Cup Downhill events and starring in some of the sport’s most memorable video projects. Fast forward to today, and both Jono and Saracen have gone from strength to strength. This re-signing isn’t just a new contract — it’s a statement of intent as Saracen continues to grow, evolve and deepen our connection with riders of all ages and disciplines.
“I’m coming home!”
“Some of the most memorable moments of my career have been aboard a Saracen and I’m so excited to be riding them again. Saracen, as well as Madison, are like a family and I’m lucky to call many of the folks there my friends. This partnership feels super special — it’s not a new start, it’s a reunion.”
— Jono Jones
Jono also shared how impressed he’s been with Saracen’s progression, especially in bike development. With fresh innovation across the range, he’s fired up to push his limits on both UK soil and the international stage — and we can’t wait to watch it unfold.

A Season Packed With Action
Jono’s 2026 calendar is already packed with seek-out speed and adventure:
-
IXS Euro Downhill Series
-
Mega Avalanche
-
Red Bull Hardline
-
Plus classic highlights like Trans Madeira, Ard Rock and the Malverns Classic
He’ll also be hitting the trails with you at Saracen Shred Sessions — demoing bikes, sharing lines and hanging out with our crew of riders at events throughout the year.
Strengthening the Squad
Marketing Director at Madison, Kellie Parsons, said it best:
“I’m beyond excited to welcome Jono back to Saracen. This genuinely feels like a full-circle moment for the brand. Jono’s history with Saracen runs deep and bringing him back just feels right. Huge credit to the team for making this happen. Just as importantly, it reinforces our commitment to supporting the next generation — Jono has an incredible connection with young riders and his impact on kids coming into the sport is huge.”
Supporting the Dream
Under this new deal, Jono also brings continued support from some of the best brands in the sport. Alongside established partners like Maxxis, Shimano, Lazer, and ODI, we’re pumped to welcome DT Swiss and PRO components into the mix — further strengthening the ride beneath him.
Welcome home, Jono. Let’s make 2026 legendary.
