Madison Saracen wrap up the World Cup season
Madison Saracen Factory Team wrapped up the 2023 World Cup season in Mont Sainte Anne, Canada.
At the eighth and final round of the year, Matt Walker made his seventh finals appearance.
An early start time saw greasy track conditions, and Walker lost traction at the midway rocks - narrowly avoiding a huge crash. The time lost cost Matt a result, but he escaped into the off-season without injury.
A 23rd place finish on the day, seasons best results of 12th in Leogang and 9th in Snowshoe contributed to 18th in the overall series.
Greg Williamson missed out on a spot in the finals, but top results of 21st in Snowshoe and 23rd in Val di Sole saw him finish 38th in the end of season standings.
The 2024 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup resumes 3-5 May 2024, at Fort William.
