Explore the Features and Benefits of the Ariel 30 X Frameset
If double-downcountry was a thing, this would be the weapon.
Get over it now, it is a thing and you're going to love it. The Ariel 30 rallies up, down and everywhere in between.
From the local loam, to trail centres and natural stuff that a bike with this little travel should have no right being interested in, this is the one that can do it all.
Designed and developed with the help of Matt Walker from our Madison Saracen Factory Racing Team, you know it's been put through the wringer and is built to last and go fast.
Every Ariel 30 features size specific wheel linkages, with small and medium bikes in the 29/27.5 mullet setup, and the large and extra-large sizes 29er models.
But what if you change your mind faster than the bike industry about which wheelsize is best?
We thought of that already. Whichever Ariel 30 you choose, we've included additional push links, that you can swap out and see if the grass really is greener. All you'll need is the right size rear wheel.
When it comes to the details, there is internal routing for everything - including a dropper post - room for a 550ml bottle, superboost spacing for additional clearance and big bearings which last longer and are commonly available should you need to refresh them.
All you need to do is add your own components for the perfect do-it-all trail machine.

FAQ
-
Q: Is the Ariel 30 good for beginners?
A: Yes, the Ariel 30 is suitable for beginners who want to start trail riding on a full suspension MTB. It is more capable than a hardtail, but still approachable for new riders on off-road terrain.Q: How does it compare to a hardtail MTB?
A: Compared to a hardtail MTB, the Ariel 30 offers more comfort, grip, and control on rough terrain due to its full suspension. Hardtails are lighter and more efficient for climbing, but less forgiving on technical trails.Q: Is the Ariel 30 worth it?
A: The Ariel 30 is worth it if you want a capable and confidence-inspiring full-suspension MTB for mixed trail riding. It offers strong performance for riders progressing beyond entry-level bikes, as well as anyone who wants to take it past its limits.Q: Do I need a full suspension MTB?
A: You need a full suspension MTB if you regularly ride rough, technical terrain where comfort, grip, and control are important. If your rides include rocky trails, steep descents, or long off-road routes, full suspension will significantly improve performance. However, it is not essential for smoother trails or light off-road riding.Q: Can you use a full suspension bike on climbs?
A: Yes, full suspension bikes can be used on climbs and modern designs are efficient when pedalling uphill. Some energy is absorbed by the rear suspension, but this is balanced by improved traction on loose or technical climbs. They are well suited to varied trail riding where climbing and descending are both required.
