From Demo Stand to Podium: Steph Morgan Wins Welsh Enduro R5

Our Own Steph Morgan Takes the Top Spot

If you’ve attended one of our Shred Sessions or demo days this year, you’ve likely met Steph Morgan. She’s the friendly person who helps riders test bikes, answers your kit questions, and shares her enthusiasm for mountain biking with everyone who stops by.

But you might not know what happens when Steph goes from the demo stand to the start line.

Riding her Saracen Ariel 60 Elite, Steph ended the season on a high note at Round 5 of the Welsh Enduro Series in Llangollen. She dominated the course, posting a best combined time of 9:52.86, which earned her first place in the round. Throughout her runs, Steph consistently pushed her limits:

Run 1: 3:33.80 / 3:15.65 (best)

Run 2: 3:13.61 (best)

Other stages: 3:23.60

From Steph - “To wrap up the season, I was stoked to take the win at the fifth and final round of the Welsh Enduro Series in Llangollen. I’ve always wanted to do well here. It’s a steep, challenging venue, and you can’t beat the views! So, to come away with the win and finish the season as Senior Women’s overall champion feels incredible. The Saracen Ariel 60 has been an absolute dream this year; it’s fast, confidence-inspiring, and just makes every race so much fun. Plus, it’s the prettiest bike I’ve ever had, which helps! Big thanks to Bud and the team at the Welsh Enduro Series for putting on such great events, and to Saracen for backing the series; it makes such a difference to be part of a brand that’s truly invested in the riders and the sport.”
