Saracen Shred Session: Caersws Bike Park
When mountain biking meets good vibes and killer trails, you know whats about to happen. That’s exactly what went down at Caersws Bike Park, during our Saracen Shred Session. With most of our Saracen ambassadors — Dan, Lucy, Becci, and Jack — ripping the trails all day, it was a full-on celebration of shredding, community, and great bikes.
Setting the Scene: Caersws Bike Park
Caersws has long held a reputation among UK downhill and gravity riders. Formerly a staple on the DH race circuit, the venue has evolved into a full-fledged bike park with uplift support and multiple tracks for varied skill levels. (caerswsbikepark.co.uk)
With two red trails, two black trails, and merge points that let you mix things up, it’s a place that keeps you coming back for more. Our partnership with Caersws means we’re supporting the park’s infrastructure, demo events, and helping riders experience Saracen bikes where they belong — on epic trails. The Day in Motion
Morning: Meet & Ride
Riders started rolling in early. The Saracen demo tent was up and buzzing, with our fleet lined up and ready. From Myst to Ariel, we had a full range of bikes for people to try. Ambassadors welcomed riders, set up bikes, and got everyone hyped for the day.

Midday: Trails Come Alive
With uplift running smoothly, the park came alive with laps. Our ambassadors made sure no line was left untouched:
Lucy Downs crushed the black trails with precision and style.
Dan Bateson hunted lines, flying down and sharing tips with riders.
Becci Skelton kept the energy high, encouraging riders to push further on the red runs.
Jack Tennyson worked hands-on with riders to dial suspension, technique, and confidence.
The demo bikes were a hit — riders swapped between models and experienced firsthand how different setups transformed their ride.

Afternoon: Connection & Wrap-up
After a day of laps, jumps, and plenty of laughs, riders came together to share stories, compare runs, and grab photos with the ambassadors. The feedback was incredible — from the trails to the bikes to the atmosphere, the stoke was sky-high.
