Leogang proves unforgiving
The Madison Saracen Factory Team faced an unforgiving weekend in Leogang, Austria, with hard work being undone at the last on a track famed for fast racing a tight times.
Matt Walker and Greg Williamson both put in the work and qualified for the finals.
But a flat for Williamson was costly, dumping him back into 22nd place on the day and 12th in the overall standings.
Walker fared a little better with 16th place but it was a case of what could have been, with a mistake in the woods costing at least a top-10 and maybe more.
Thankfully there's a fast turnaround, with the circus moving directly to Val di Sole for another race weekend and an instant chance to right those wrongs.
