Madley wins Fort William National
George Madley won his first race of the 2024 season, taking number one spot in the junior men's category at the Fort William round of the British Downhill Series.
Dominating the weekend, the Madison Saracen Factory Team rider placed first in qualifying and backed that up in a wet finals run.
With a time of 4:35.30 George's time would have placed him second in the elite men's race, showing his pace on track.
Matt Walker missed out on the chance to make it two wins from two, as a puncture ended his race run. Qualifying first, Matt's finals run started at pace and he was one-second up on the fastest time at the halfway point, showing his form.
The team regroup for the next round of the UCI Downhill World Cup which takes place in Leogang, Austria on June 9.
